The two dungeons that I know of where this trick works is the last boss of waterworks and winterbane. You need 3-4 people(I haven’t tested it with 3 people but someone did mention it works with 3) Have ONE person go to a different room in the dungeon and then come back to the boss room. Make sure everyone else stays in the same room.
Don't respawn the boss if you need the hat it's not gonna drop. Luska drops all hats, Sylster drops a few hats but not all of them. It's weird and inconsistent, but for the schools that can get a hat drop from Sylster, it's easier. It depends on what school you are. My life has gotten it from the final boss.Having Wintertusk crafted definitely makes farming WW/HoS a lot easier than if you were using Olympus or Bazaar gear, especially if you’re unlucky and it takes many runs to get all the gear you need. I literally got the entire set just tonight in 2 full runs of the dungeon. I think that's a little luckier than average, but I've never personally found waterworks to me bad in terms of drop rates. 2 yr. ago. it honestly just depends on your rng tbh, i ended up with 2 pages of robes, a full page of boots and only 1 hat.
Jan 27, 2010 · Tartarus is very long and annoying to farm, and drops can be pretty rare, so it can be a big pain to farm. But if you’re willing and able to, go for it. The Hades wand is very good as well. Again, Waterworks can last you until Darkmoor, which is only 10 levels after Tartarus, so don’t sweat if if you can’t do it.

In order to get that xp when the level cap increases, you will have to have not completed the Waterworks over two times. Each dungeon allows you to gain xp from quest twice only. The first time you complete it you get full experience. The second time you get half the experience.
